180. What Should Small Groups Look Like?
Manage episode 434110353 series 2820285
Every church in America has encouraged its members to join a small group. Many churches even help in the process, but are small groups even necessary? How should they be done to be beneficial and sustainable?
In today’s episode, Pastor Derek and guest host Jordan Rossler talk through the importance of meeting with other believers by diving into Scripture and allowing the Word to set the framework for biblical small groups. From there, we talk through 7 different things to consider when starting a small group (or igniting one you are currently in) to give it the best chance to do what it was created for. We hope that you are encouraged in listening to this episode and even if you don't agree with all of our personal beliefs, that you would consider the importance of meeting together intimately with other believers.
