"It's quite interesting to see how people believe that all Africans are poor helpless people..." - a secondary pupil shares her thoughts on reactions to films in a workshop at one of the events we drop-in on, in this our second episode for Global Citizenship Month.
We meet some of the organisations and individuals who make up IDEAS (the International Development Education Association Scotland) - a network of organisations and individuals across Scotland that actively support and promote Education for Global Citizenship. From larger NGOs, like Christian Aid, SCIAF & Oxfam, to much smaller organisations like WOSDEC (and fellow Development Education Centres), Bala Sport & Rainbow Turtle.
We can't cram them all in to one episode but we give you a taste of how collaboration between these various organisations and individuals is helping to further develop Global Citizenship skills and attributes in young people and educators alike across Scotland.
We'd love to know what you think of the episode, so leave us a review, give us a rating or get in touch below.
