In today’s episode, we explore the seventh beatitude: “Blessed are the peacemakers.” Jesus calls us to be peacemakers, not peacekeepers—to step into conflict and actively work toward reconciliation. But here’s the surprising twist: often, the ones who oppose us aren’t the people we’re making peace with, but those who disapprove of how we go about it. We’ll also see how this ties into the next beatitude, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness.” Being a peacemaker is messy, countercultural, and sometimes painful—but it’s central to the kingdom of God.
