Marianne Williamson has been has been a leader of spiritually progressive circles for more than four decades. She is the author of 16 books, four of which have been #1 New York Times best sellers. Her other bestsellers have included A Woman's Worth, The Law of Divine Compensation, Tears to Triumph and The Gift of Change. With her books and online classes she has taught millions of people the universal spiritual principles at the heart of miracle-minded thinking. In this episode, we talk about what she wanted to bring to politics - note that this interview was done before she withdrew from the presidential race. We also talk about global issues, her work as a spiritual teacher and leader, and as a political activist. She certainly isn't new to helping shift issues. Williamson founded Project Angel Food, a non-profit organization that has delivered more than 18 million meals to ill and dying home-bound patients in the Los Angeles area since 1989. She has worked throughout her career on poverty, anti-hunger and racial reconciliation issues. Marianne is also the co-founder of The Peace Alliance and supported the creation of a U.S. Department of Peace.
