Jesus made the bold identity to his disciples in John 14, I am the way, the truth and the life. The next day he was arraigned before Pilate and testified, "For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice."Pilate responded with the age old question , What is truth?in fact Truth stood before him! Years later the Apostle John wrote: And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
