Our guest today is a San Francisco Broadcast Legend, a retired college instructor/engineer/broadcaster/announcer/radio manager, a father, a grandfather, and a great-grandfather, Dan Odum!! At the time of this recording (which is our first remote podcast recording!), Dan is 95 years old and full of recollections, stories, and memories of his life experiences which he shares with Steve from the comfort of his home in San Carlos, CA. During our time with him, he shared his experiences growing up in North Carolina, his time in the Navy on an aircraft carrier during the Korean War, his pursuit of music and broadcasting, and teaching radio broadcasting at the College of San Mateo!
