EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS ARE THOSE OUTSIDE OF PRISON- WHO ARE THEY?
INDICTED AND FACING PRISON
I’m Dr. Marc Blatstein. I spent time in Federal Prison, and now I’m here to help you on your journey. After the video, for more, check out PPSRUS.com.

· The Lesson: Prison is Temporary.
My goal in this series is to provide you with the information you’ll need to survive and navigate these times because Knowledge and Preparation will help build back the Confidence you’ll need throughout this process.

· Since you’ve heard that the DOJ and Feds have been asking questions, their case against you is mostly complete, with a 98% Conviction Rate.

· Hiring a legal team doesn’t just mean they have experience; they also need a proven track record of successfully defending cases like yours.

· The choices you make today - will help you tomorrow.
Your JUDGE understands that crimes do not happen in a vacuum. Most are also very interested in learning from the defendant, in their own words, what caused them to break the law. What Happened?
How can you share with your judge the events of your life? Start with a well-written Personal NARRATIVE of Your Life - Your Autobiography. The DOJ has already told your life story through your Indictment, which is not very flattering.
Judges Know that,
1. The DOJ: They Want Prison Time. By the time the defendants are aware of the Department of Justice, the investigation part of the case is mostly complete, and the DOJ has a Conviction Rate of 98%, resulting in a prison sentence.

· The time incarcerated is influenced by whether counsel and client choose to go to trial or accept a plea. Whether the defendant has written their NARRATIVE and had an honest conversation with themselves and then the judge at sentencing.

· The court, Probation Officer, and the Judge will all be aware if you (the client) violate before your attorney,
3. THE PROSECUTOR: The judge knows that the Prosecutor wants Prison time.

· After the Interview and Investigation, the Probation Officer (PO) will complete their probation report.

· Once you have provided all the remaining documentation, they will draft the official presentation Report (PSR). You may also elect to include your thoughts on sentencing and BOP placement request and the reasons supporting that request.

· Counsel usually knows nothing about their client’s background, but a well-written Personal NARRATIVE (or autobiography life history) can change that.

· Your clients must feel comfortable asking questions, and counsel should be completely transparent about the case.

· As a physician, I know that patients were sometimes hesitant to ask questions to me, ‘The Doctor in the White Coat’ questions, but I did my best to put them all at ease.

· Judges understand that crimes don't happen in a vacuum and want to hear from you, now the defendant.

· They want to understand the circumstances that resulted in you breaking the law and standing before them today.
