If you can be anything, be kind with Cat Preston
Manage episode 350184578 series 2837990
Hey there, my wise friends, and welcome to another episode of Collective Wisdom, which this week, I thought I'd try doing something a little different. As we're closing out the end of 2022. And coming towards the end of season eight, I thought I would do a session on wrapping up.
And as I'm not a huge fan of New Year's resolutions, which are always a sense of a source of defeat for me, I kind of maybe set out to try and do dry January and get as far as the 28th. But I never get that sense of inspiration. Because I'm always reminded that a year is actually a very long time. And no matter what goals we set, I find that actually, all sorts of magic and amazing things often come about mainly in the gaps between what we plan to make happen, or at least that's how it often feels in my own life.
So a better way for me to operate is often to reflect on here that's just come by and look at the things that have gone well, that unexpected things that have happened, and the things that have really been a source of fun and joy, and that I value and that I want to take forward into the year ahead.
So if you care to join me, I'll be asking some insightful questions. And this might even be a good time to dust off a journal and write out some of your own answers. Because that's really what for me, collective wisdom is all about, it's about finding out a bit more about who you are deep down so that you can bring out all of your own unique gifts and talents out into the world where they belong.
