Why did Peter use the metaphor "Roaring Lion" to describe our enemy who seeks to devour us? Why not use "hungry lion," famished lion," or "starving lion?" In this episode, I explore the real hunting and eating characteristics of the lion, and also delve into the Old Testament Scriptures to find out that this term "Roaring Lion" has been used often to describe wicked rulers. Find out why Peter warned us of the alert "roar" and how he wrote to give us the tools to stay out of that destruction.
