Paul Boyette Jr, played football at Texas. Soon after, he spent his time on the practice squad for the Oakland Raiders. After, he spent some time competing for a few different spots in training camps. Most recently, Boyette signed on to play professional football in Japan in the X-Leauge. The defensive end has a wealth of information on the mindset of playing on a practice squad as well as the financial aspect of it. In addition, we talk about the balancing of hope when you get a call to compete at a training camp. Finally, we talk about his future in the X-League. Since, this is our first interview about Japanese [American] football and Boyette has not been there yet, together we look into his potential future in Japan.
