Continuing the tradition in December of picking our favorite Holiday Themed Films, the Holiday wheel chose Drew. Drew's Holiday pick is the 1999 Classic Holiday film, Eyes Wide Shut. Directed by Stanley Kubrick, his last film before his death, and starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, who were married at the time of filming. You can imagine how this choice could open the door to a discussion about whether this is truly a "holiday film". If you like your holidays with orgies, crumbling marriages, objectification of women and the F word, then you are in for a magical treat that will open your heart to the holidays. Mmmmm...wonder what I thought? Guess, then watch with your eyes wide open.
