This week we had Pablo Montes join us to talk about his journey to his PhD program. Pablo Montes is a first generation, working class student and migrant from the lands of the Purépecha and Guamares, also commonly known as Guanajuato, MX. We discussed the importance of following your intuition, ways to support low-income, first gen students in higher ed, and research experiences.
