India i.e. Bharat has a long and a complex history. The current days of churning which is happening in our world requires us to think out of the box. Hence, it becomes more important than ever for us to go back to our critical past; analyze it, learn from it and apply in present day situations.

While reading the book called 'The India Way' written by our Hon'ble Minister of External Affairs, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, a career diplomat and one of the most respected fellows in the geopolitical arena, I came across a chapter called 'Krishna's Choice' which focuses on the Mahabharata and its huge relevance in today's India.

Though many western nations including USA and Great Britain and Asian countries such as, China and Japan have always relied on its cultures and traditions to find the answers for today; India unfortunately lacked behind in recognizing its own heritage, cultures and traditions to use it sharply to climb the ladder to attain its lost position in the world.

As per Dr. Jaishankar, we need to learn from our texts to find the ways in the current multi-polar world and emerge as a winner in future. He provides innumerable examples from events of Mahabharata, from which one can study, learn and apply the same in the geopolitical arena.
