Welcome back to the kitchen table. Bethany shares some of her best parenting principles that come from scripture. These teachings guide her through the beautiful chaos of family life, and she has seen the good that comes from applying them with her children.
One key belief she holds is that work as a parent isn't measured by outcomes but by the effort put in. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds her, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” This perspective keeps her focused on the love and commitment she brings to parenting, not just the results.
She often reminds herself that her children's efforts are what truly matter, not just the results. “In all things, are they putting in the effort?” she asks. Framing conversations around this belief creates a supportive atmosphere where her kids can learn and grow.
