As a recent Golf Digest article said, perhaps except for the TopGolf phenomenon, our industry's next best grow-the-game initiative has already been discovered – and that is golf simulators.

Like so many other clubs have done with great success, maybe now is the time for your club to embrace simulators too, not only as a way to further engage your existing members and guests, but as a way to create new golfers to ensure the future of club while also immediately adding to your bottom line!

If you’re interested in the idea of installing simulators at your club but aren’t sure where to start, then you won’t want to miss this episode of the GIG Podcast.

On this episode of The GIG Podcast, we welcome Steve Harris, the President & Managing Partner of Golfplay in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada where we talk about how to best approach the process of adding simulators at your club to provide another entertainment option for your members and guests, as well as another revenue stream in order to improve your bottom line.

Why You Should Tune in To This Episode of The GIG Podcast:

· Although golf simulators are becoming increasingly popular for club-fitting and instruction, this episode focuses on what the opportunities are for using simulators for entertainment purposes which can create a lucrative new revenue opportunity for your club and help grow your F&B business too.

· The NGF estimates there are roughly 4 million golf simulator participants in the U.S., about half of whom have never played on a golf course.

· NGF research shows that almost half of all golf simulator participants (45%) are non-golfers, suggesting a fertile ground for the growth of your business and a great opportunity to attract new people to your club and develop them into traditional golfers too.
