We’re now into the month of May, the time where we start to see the drawing of the curtains to the football season. However there is nothing set in stone as of yet in the Premier League.
With Man City and Arsenal still chasing the title, Liverpool putting late pressure on Man United for a top four finish and Southampton on the brink of relegation, there will certainly be some entertaining spectacles to take place in the remaining game weeks.
The Championship campaign is now over and we have some playoff fixtures to look forward to with Luton taking on Sunderland and Middlesbrough will go head to head against Coventry. Meanwhile at the other end of the table, Reading will be joining Blackpool and Wigan in League 1 next season.
Celtic sealed back to back league titles after a 2-0 win over Hearts and will now be looking to make it a treble-winning season when the Scottish Cup final comes around in June.
