Boredom is not something you need to escape, it’s something you have to deal with. Most people try to escape it which is not the solution to it. Boredom is a neutral feeling: it’s upto you to turn it into something positive or negative. Being open to all the plans of friends, just to avoid being bored begin a classic example of something negative, by doing so you are just wasting your time.
