Manage episode 407266309 series 3559255
Just when you’ve had a full meal, the craving for dessert starts. What do you do? Do you push that craving down and ignore it, or do you give yourself an all-out YES and start bingeing it? Dessert can be a trigger for many people, and so many women feel shame around their “sweet tooth”. It feels impossible to stop after just one cookie, so you don’t even keep your favorite desserts in the house out of fear that you’ll overeat and feel sick. The truth is that knowing when you’re full versus when you’re satisfied are two different things. Unfortunately, not knowing how to draw the line between the two can lead to an unhealthy relationship with food. Once you understand the root cause of your never-ending search for satisfaction, you can also start having a healthier relationship with dessert and, as a result, have better control over your mental, emotional, and physical health, too. Tune in to this episode to find out how to continue enjoying your favorite dessert without compromising your overall health.
