During this summer's EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF2022) in Leiden, Holland, Jens Degett from Science Stories interviewed astronomer and freelance journalist Jari Makinen on the status of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
The deployment was successful, but there is already a small dent in the telescope. What does it mean for the new space telescope? How long time will the telescope be able to work? Why is it worth to invest in space telescopes?
