1 Samuel 1
Manage episode 470688911 series 1154876
This is the story of Hannah, a woman who couldn’t have children (a cultural and economic issue) and was bullied by her contemporaries as a result. She faces profound difficulty, but God hears her cry, and answers her honest distress.
We can’t always understand why God allows things to work out in a particular way. But God uses this time to shape something in Hannah that will affect a wider group of people
1. Hannah admits her feelings
2. Pours out her soul
3. Opens her hands
