Water is a critical input for agricultural production and plays an important role in food security. Yet, issues around water rights remain a real headache for most of Mzansi’s farmers.
In this episode, Katlego details how farmers can obtain water rights for their farms. But be warned, there are no shortcuts.
She also provides a list of what farmers should have in place before applying for their water rights, and why pumping water from a river source without prior permission is asking for trouble.
