Sometimes the movies reviewed for Physical Media Isn't Dead just don't show up when my deadlines are long past due and usually it wouldn't be a huge issue, but considering that Fun City Editions went out of their way to send me a copy of Michael Ritchie's seemingly under talked about film Smile in the mail, I figured I'd make some space for some conversation. I'm so happy I did! In this short episode I talk about why Smile is such a funny and sharp movie that successfully walks the satire line. I hope after you listen, you decide to give the film a chance the next time you're browsing for something new to you and want something that hasn't been talked about to death. You wont be sorry.
