Biodiversity loss has been called one of the top five threats confronting humanity. Three researchers from the University of Victoria are part of a global project, BIOSCAN, working to stem the tide against future mass extinction – and it just received $24 million in federal funding. To find out more about the project and what it means for Vancouver Island, we speak with UVic professor David Castle.
