Jadah Sellner, along with a co-founder, took the business “Simple Green Smoothies” to six- and seven-figure success. But although their work was built on love, fun, creativity, and connection, they gradually lost sight of why they built their business and were soon overly focused on metrics. This all came at a high cost to their relationships, health, and families.
It took Jadah selling her half of the company in order to heal, redefine her ambition, and decide where she was willing to put her energy. Taking this step back helped her find a different way to build a business, which is where the inspiration for her book, She Builds, came from.
In this episode of “Authors Who Lead,” I talk with Jadah about her journey in writing her book, She Builds: The Anti-Hustle Guide to Grow Your Business and Nourish Your Life. If you haven’t listened to our prior conversations about Jadah’s book and her entrepreneurial journey, you can listen here on Episode 47, Episode 138, and Episode 182.
