But we have been merging our orthopaedic and trauma departments and restructure our new Musculusceletal University Cluster. We are all the more happy to pick up our podcast to stay connected with you all.

This time, we got Tim Schepers with us. A Trauma Surgeon at the AMC Trauma Unit Amsterdam with an exceptional experience in complex foot and ankle injuries and their residuals. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed papers.
The paper we would love to discuss with him today has just been published in the Bone and Joint Journal and is entitled: “Functional outcome of routine versus on-demand removal of the syndesmotic screw: a multicenter randomized controlled trial”.
