在臺灣三百多年的時空隧道中，斯土斯民在這塊土地所作所為，許多「大小事」都成為繼往開來的前車之鑑。主持人在八〇年代曾與中視晚間新聞前「歷史上的今天」節目合作過，當時也同步於《中國時報》上全年配合刊載圖文專欄，算是在上世紀便已在螢光幕影像、報紙印刷品的領域服務過廣大的觀眾與讀者；唯獨在廣播領域長達二十餘載「放送」歲月中只專攻時事、反忽略了曾經鑽研甚深的「往事如煙」大事記！
如今，終於可在ㄧ週之始的星期日晚間7點黃金時段服務各地閱聽人，帶領大家回味「臺灣時空隧道」在往昔的下一週間曾發生過之「大代誌」，注入新發展解讀，賦予新觀點細述，讓世界更了解臺灣這彈丸之地是如何「轉型」成功。
