Roughly 40 people gathered on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Memorial Park Cemetery to honor Elaine Nix, who was found dead 25 years ago in Buford. Jennifer Boyd, Elaine’s best friend, led family and friends in sharing memories of their time with Elaine. The teenager’s loved ones are determined that this will be the year that justice is served. Nine days later, her body was found next to an industrial park in Gwinnett County, right over the line from Hall County.
