City of Colorado Springs, et al., 2023) to provide undeniable evidence that federal and local law enforcement unconstitutionally spied on Black Lives Matter social justice protestors for their political speech & actions. Jax appeared on Democracy Now! to discuss her case when it was filed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Colorado on Aug. 1, 2023. She taps into her career experience in journalism, public service, community organizing and political campaigns to tell the deeply personal story of this case from her perspective, as well as unpack the complexities (and injustices) of the legal system.
