There were to be no shocks at Celtic Park in the Saturday late kick-off. Brendan Rodgers’ side were brutally clinical in seeing off the Rovers, with goals in the opening minutes of each half setting the tone for a game that they controlled from start to finish.Duncan, Blair, Allan and Leslie talk about the gulf between the sides, whether there was ever an opportunity for the Rovers to impose themselves on the game, and the ability and power that £1.4m gets you in the form of Daizen Maeda. Blair also briefly turns TripAdvisor and gives his review of the Celtic Park boardroom experience. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. It’s Scottish Cup time again, and it’s fair to say that rampant optimism isn’t quite the mood of the day at ONNN Towers. Robbie, Scott, Blair and Les join Duncan to try and piece together a strategy that could see the Rovers come away from Celtic Park with a victory. And the variety of suggestions on offer would indicate that Barry Robson won’t have to worry about anyone taking his job any time soon. Alongside all of that, there’s also a discussion of Josh Rae’s arrival from St Johnstone, and another round of Should McStay or Should Dargo?. For the second time this season, the Rovers came away empty-handed and frustrated from East End Park. A game of few chances somehow conjured four goals thanks to three penalties and a healthy deflection, and Duncan, Leslie and Allan sat down to try and make sense of it all. The three shine a light on where things went right and where they went wrong, what it might mean for the rest of the season, how to contextualise this defeat after Tuesday’s 3-0 win, and one of the panel in particular has a real bee in his bunnet with Barry Robson’s post-match interview. It’s another double-up on Oh No No No as the Rovers face two away games in five days. Spirits are high as Duncan, Robbie and Graeme wax lyrical about the Rovers 3-0 trouncing of Hamilton Accies. Goals from Finlay Pollock, Jamie Gullan and Aiden Marsh put the Rovers on easy street and it was a rare comfortable win from start to finish. After walking through the key incidents, the star performers and the sheer ineptitude of Accies, attention turns to Saturday’s trip to East End Park, and what can be expected from a Pars side being transformed – for good or ill – by Michael Tidser. It’s double-duty for the ONNN gang as they look back (through their fingers) at Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Falkirk, and then briefly look ahead to Tuesday night’s trip to Hamilton. Duncan, Robbie, Carol and Iain talk through the familiar concession of an early goal from a cross, the significant impact of John McGlynn’s tactical U-turn, the Rovers’ reliance on set pieces, Barry Robson’s post-match interview and just how much blame can be apportioned to different culprits for the second goal. They then take turns to lay out a starting eleven for New Douglas Park, with varied results. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. No sooner had we hit the 'finish recording' button, Rovers had announced the unexpected signing of George Gitau on loan from Middlesbrough. That's the quick paced nature of Barry Robson's ever-changing Rovers side. Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast! It's been a busy old week to say the least and to chat all things Rovers, Robbie is joined by Duncan, Scott, Leslie and Iain to discuss the Scottish Cup draw away to Celtic, Sam Stanton's departure to Arbroath on loan, and a very quick look ahead to Saturday's familiar foes Falkirk. Duncan, Robbie, Allan, Scott and Blair are back to wax lyrical about the Rovers’ safe passage into the last sixteen of the Scottish Cup, following their extra time win over John McGlynn’s Falkirk. The team talk through Barry Robson’s tactical approach, the impact of Barnsley starlet Aiden Marsh, Sam Stanton’s villain-to-hero Harvey Dent impression, and the positive impact of each of the substitutes. Duncan, Robbie, Allan and Carol sit down to try and muster up the magic of the Cup and look ahead to the trip to Falkirk. There’s a recap of the Club 1883 Manager’s Q&A, an assessment of the departures of Lewis Jamieson, Cody David and Fankaty Dabo, a lengthy discussion around what you can possibly do if you don’t have any strikers, and Robbie rounds things off by posing another Should McStay or Should Dargo?. Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast. As the temperatures plummet across Scotland, we're back to look ahead to next Sunday's visit along to Cappielow where Robson's Rovers face the only team who have a 100% record against them this season. Dougie Imrie's Morton are one of the form teams in the league and having beaten us twice this season will be full confidence. Robbie is joined by Scott, Leslie and Blair to look ahead at some of the more mischievous antics of this week with the Fabrizio Romano of the podcast after reeling in several bites with a made up transfer rumour. There's a discussion about the logistics of the switch of the match from the Saturday to Sunday, before then looking at the game itself as Rovers attempt to bounce back from the loss at Ayr last week. As ever, there's the customary pre-match game of Should McStay or Should Dargo to round things off. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. It may have been the beginning of a new chapter, but familiar themes were all too apparent as the Rovers were pulled apart by Ayr United at Somerset Park. Duncan, Leslie, Scott and Blair put their heads (in their hands) together to try and pinpoint the biggest point of failure, and compile a list of other contributing factors as long as the drive back from Ayrshire after a 3-0 defeat. A new chapter begins at Somerset Park on Saturday, as Barry Robson takes his new Rovers side to face old teammate Scott Brown. Duncan, Robbie and Blair talk through what influence Robson might have just a few days into his new job, whether we’ll see changes to the starting line-up, and consider if we’ll see Jordan Doherty for the first time too. After all that, there’s still time for another stellar round of Should McStay or Should Dargo?. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Andy’s Man Club. Just eight short days after Neill Collins departed for California, the gaffer’s office at Stark’s Park has a new resident. Barry Robson will oversee the side for at least the next four months (!) and Duncan, Scott, Blair and Allan got together on a miserable Hogmanay morning to share their optimism for what comes next. Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast. No manager? No problem! Raith Rovers picked up their third consecutive victory at Stark's Park with John Potter leading the troops to a 2-1 win against title challengers Livingston. Having been unfortunate to take nothing in the previous two encounters, Rovers started quickly with an early Dylan Easton goal after a sumptuous pass from Liam Dick. The lead was doubled midway through the second half with Aidan Connolly getting his second goal in as many weeks to continue his renaissaince. The second half saw the visitors come more into the game, and a Stevie May penalty made for a nervous finish. Ultimately, Raith hung on to pick up three points to move just a point behind 5th place Queens Park with a game in hand still to play. Robbie is joined by Scott and Allan to give a run through the match. The Oh No No No podcast are proud to offer our full support to Kirkcaldy Foodbank's Christmas Campaign. As the Rovers continue to reel from the shock departure of Neill Collins, attention turns back to matters on the field with Livingston’s visit on Saturday. After a somewhat unorthodox podcast intro, Duncan is joined by Allan and Blair to discuss their latest thoughts on Neill Collins and what happens next, how the team might line up against Livingston, and the chances of defeating a Lions side who’ve only lost twice so far this season. Just 24 hours after a glowing review of the victory over Queen’s Park, the ONNN team are back to discuss a sea-change in the world of Raith Rovers. The bombshell departure of Neill Collins dropped on Saturday, and Duncan is joined by the bumper panel of Carol, Scott, Graeme, Allan, Blair and Robbie to give their immediate reactions, and wonder aloud about what might happen next. It’s a podcast full of questions with very few answers, but there’s plenty talk of release clauses, relocations, returning caretakers, reheated shortlists and (Sacramento) Republics.
