رادیو سگ سیاه محصول مطالعات پراکنده است. به این معنی که سرک کشیدن به حوزه های گوناگون در نهایت باعث می شود به یک مفهوم از جنبه های مختلفی نگاه کنیم. اما راوی یک سگ سیاه است. سگی سیاه که در جهان معاصر راه می رود. سگ سیاهی که خودش را محصور مرزبندی های معمول جهان نمی کند. بنابراین نژاد، طبقه ی اجتماعی، باورها، سنت ها و... برایش در الویت نیستند. اصلا به آنها کاری ندارد. او می خواهد ما را وادار به اندیشیدن کند. نه الزاما به خارج از خودمان بلکه در ابتدا از درون مان. که ما در این جهان چه کار می کنیم.
