Rating: 80% - Worth Watching A pretty low score for a Dynamite from some pretty diehard AEW marks, but believe us when we say that, if you do nothing else, watch that women’s match. It’ll make everything else worth while. We're taking next week off - happy holidays everyone! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aedoubleback/message…

Rating: 83% - Worth Watching It’s Tuesday and you know what that means! It’s NX- uh … I mean, it’s a Dynamite that’s been shifted for some other sportsball thing TBS loves more! Also, there are a bunch of titles at stake! And a horrible match-ending injury! And the greatest promo in the history of Tuesday night promos! This one’s got it all! --- Se…

Rating: 80% - Worth Watching Calder’s out this week, so we have a very special guest: Matt Harbert! Matt’s an LA comedian and a long-time lapsed fan. It’s the Third Anniversary episode of the show, so if there were ever a time to bring in a new fan, this should be the one, right? What does someone who last watched wrestling during the Attitude Era …

Rating: 93% - Must Watch How did we walk away feeling so bad about a show that rated so high? Was it all the unpleasant finishes? The unfortunate portmanteaus? Or was it just that there wasn’t enough Danhausen? You’ll have to listen to find out! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aedoubleback/message…

Rating: 90% - Must Watch We’ve got special guest Angel Martí (on Instagram @wuji_by_angel) sitting in for the go-home show before All Out and it’s a banger! Will we bring former professional wrestler and fan Angel back into the AEW fold? Listen to find out! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aedoubleback/message…

Rating: 88% - Worth Watching Despite there being an entire uninterrupted in-ring promo from Ricky Starks, this somehow missed being a perfect show. Ah well, maybe after All Out, we’ll get just a full two hours of Ricky. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aedoubleback/message

Rating: 100% - Must Watch What? What’s this? The first 100% since the Brodie Lee memorial show? To be clear, it’s a great show. But also, half of it is Blood and Guts which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Or cup of blood. Or whatever. Which makes it not the greatest show ever if you were looking for something to introduce a new fan to. But it also fea…

Rating: 83% - Worth Watching Might we - at long last - found an heir to the title of shiny bun boys? Maybe? But more importantly, we’ve got a killer opener and a killer main event and a somewhat uneven middle that still balances out to a great show! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aedoubleback/message…

Okay, look - the audio is TERRIBLE. We thought we could record outside of the theater after the PPV, then the wind kicked up and the Drunken Crab had what we can only assume was a jet engine on out front and well … we wouldn't hold it against you if you skipped this episode. But Double or Nothing was still a great show. We don’t usually thumb PPVs …

Our Rating: 89% - Worth Watching Audience Rating: 77% We asked and you responded! Tweet us with your thumbs and, if we get it in time, we’ll add you to our audience rating of the show! Thanks this week to Andy Costello, Kevin Decent, and Jerry Armstrong who all make an appearance this episode! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aedouble…

Rating: 88% - Worth Watching Would you look at that? It’s almost like AEW gives a crap about its women’s division! Who woulda thunk it in this day and age? Also, if you’re not into that Rey Fenix vs. Dante Martin match, what are you even doing here? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aedoubleback/message…

Rating: 83% - Worth Watching Despite its “low” rating, this is an AMAZING show. Scorp and Sammy, the return of Rey, Blackpool Combat Club with the - dare we say - impish William Regal on the announce table. Plus, the fabled DOUBLE RAINBOW! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aedoubleback/message…

Rating: 98% - Must Watch I think we can all agree that was a pretty good episode. Possibly the highest thumbed episode since the Brody Lee memorial?! Whaaaaaaaa? It’s like these folks know how to put together a wrestling show or something! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aedoubleback/message…

Rating: 90% - Must Watch Dax Shepherd makes an appearance (not really)! Dynasty of Violence wrestles (although they aren't actually called that)! And the crowd gets real Rome, circa 33 AD in ways that are deeply troubling! All that AND Dark Order vs. the JAS? Mama, I'm comin' hoooooooome! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aedoubleback/…

Rating: 91% - Must Watch The belts are where they belong. Everything else beyond that is just gravy. Here’s the excerpts from the Talk Is Jericho episode we mention. REGAL DESERVES HIS OWN GD HALL OF FAME. https://wrestlingnews.co/aew-news/william-regal-goes-into-great-detail-on-his-health-issues-says-hes-been-wrestling-with-a-broken-neck-since-199…
